So for some of you this may be a useful review, but I want to help YOU dear reader achieve YOUR goals. I’m a bit of a goal junkie so I can get pretty into this stuff. And one thing I learned long ago is that goals should be:

Specific: Gotta have what you want CLEARLY defined, NO gray area

Measurable: How will you know if it’s been achieved? Should be binary, crystal clear

Achievable: Hate to say it, but it’s gotta be realistic. If your goal is to be a millionaire in a year and your broke… your probably screwed. Unless you’re in the will of a terminally sick relative lol.

Relevant: It should aligned with any broader goals you have. Otherwise it probably shouldn’t be a goal… and your less likely to take it seriously

Timely: Give yourself a deadline. Otherwise you’ll put it off. Ask me how I know…

There you have it. Now, take YOUR goals through this filter and your chance of achieving them goes WAY WAY up! Happiest of holidays folks!
