Alrighty folks… so I made some predictions over the year… so how’d I do? So to answer that question I’ve listed out my predictions from the past year to assess how I did on each one. I’m rating myself on the following scale Bad: 💩 OK: 🤔 Good: ✅

• Commercial RE falling further (Feb): So from what I can tell from THIS, overall U.S. prices declined further until the end of June and then bottomed out and are on the rise again. So… overall I think I did OKish on this one. 🤔

• Bitcoin to 150k (Feb): Ya… hasn’t happened… yet. Bitcoin has hit 100K! That ain’t nuthin right!? Still not 150K, so ya… my click-baity title turned out to be B.S. However if you had bought in Feb, you wouldn’t be upset with the results… Up around 60%!!! However 150k hasn’t yet happened so for now I’ll give myself a 💩

• J Powell Higher for Longer (May): So I’d say this one is still unfolding, he has lowered fed funds rates, but has said he’s done for a while. Overall rates are about where they were projected to be back in May by the bond market. So.. I gotta give myself a 💩.

• Nvidia Top (June): So since the CEO signed that lady’s lady lumps the stock is down 10%, so ya… feel like I nailed that one pretty good. ✅

• Trump Assassination Predictions (July)

  • Biden Stay’s the Prez Candidate: Ya… as you already know… I botched that one 💩

  • Equities and Crypto Rally into end of year: S&P up around 25% and crypto market cap up about 135% overall!!! Definitely nailed this one. ✅

  • At least one more cut: Fed has cut 3 more times since, so I’d call that a win. But Im not like the only person who thought this would happen by any stretch. I should have been bolder, but I give myself a reluctant ✅

  • Republicans win Presidency and Senate: Republicans won like… everything… Blew my mind. Trump even won the popular vote for crying out loud. Whaaat? Definitely got this one… ✅ 

So… In total I got 3 Bad: 💩 1 OK: 🤔 4 Good: ✅. I’m a harsh judge… but ya didn’t knock it out of the park by any means, but hey… if you can win more than you lose your up in this biz!
