Dearest reader… please know I ask this in a completely loving way… but I want you to ask yourself a very TOUGH question. A very pertinent question, as we come to the end of the year and reflect on what we’ve done with our time. That tough question is this… have you been productive in a way that aligns with YOUR goals??? Put another way… have YOU been actively working on the things that matter most to YOU and YOUR goals??? Here’s the thing, I’m guessing YOU are a busy person. As in you’ve got lots going on, and do lots of stuff, a lot of the time. However, are the things that are keeping you busy the things YOU should be working on? Are there things that YOU could cut out in order to work on the things that matter most? Are there things you should be thinking more deeply about, but YOU don’t have the time because YOU are too busy?

I think the above quote has SO MUCH significance in our day and age. I know very few people who aren’t ‘busy.’ However, much of that business is holding them back from thinking about and working on the things they REALLY care about. I hear such refrains all the time about ‘meaning to get around to X’ or ‘Someday I’ll do Y.’ The truth is, time waits for no one… so get busy on what matters today. What’s ONE THING you could get busy on today that would meaningfully move you towards your goals? NOW GO DO IT!!!
